About the PTO

Formed in March 2022, we are a volunteer-run, nonprofit organization made up of parents, caregivers, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are dedicated to the success of our children. We seek to build community through enrichment and volunteerism, strengthen communications, and support school staff, students, and families.

Our primary goal as a PTO is to provide our school with activities, resources, and volunteers that will enrich and maximize the education of our children and to benefit the school. In our first year as a PTO in the 2022-2023 school year, we organized activities for our students and families like the Read-A-Thon, Geography Bee, Harvest Festival and Movie Night. We supply volunteers at school events like the Winter Celebration, Heritage Celebrations, Prospective Parent Tours and Career Fair. We also created a native plant garden, a wildflower hill, and are in the process of implementing a microforest on campus.

We work on increasing communication and community through our online groups and through the Room Parents, and work closely with teachers, school staff, and the principal on school events and initiatives.

Your input and ideas are essential. With volunteers, teachers, and school support, we can do anything, as long as we have the willpower and labor to get it done!

When Do We Meet?
The PTO meets monthly and hosts both morning and evening hybrid meetings monthly to support each other, plan activities, and share ideas.  We also meet in-person at the Parent Center as needed to organize for school events and to create decorations and crafts. Everyone is always welcome.

How Do I Join?

Anyone in the school community can join the PTO. There is no formal process to join and no dues required.  Joining the PTO Facebook group and/or Band group is recommended to follow the latest updates about PTO and school news and activities.
